Job Description
CETECOM, Inc., 411 Dixon Landing Road, Milpitas, CA 95035, is seeking a Project Manager to work with company s engineering and certification team and customers to ensure the completion of projects on time and on budget. The job duties include:
- Interface with company customers to develop testing plans and keep them informed of the progress;
- Identify and define the resources of testing regulatory and conformance Radio Frequency, Electromagnetic Compatibility, protocol, on electrical and electronic products seeking FCC/ISED/RED certification/PTCRB/GCF certification.
- Perform technical reviews on products, technical specifications, datasheets, and CETECOM s SOP to ensure testing quotations and technical scopes in compliance with the requirements of product types;
- Schedule and monitor the progress of test plans;
- Perform cellular modular integrations per requirements of PTCRB/GCF certification, prepare and review test reports for test requests, and prepare submission documents;
- Use company s database to monitor project conformance, such as test plan generation, test result assessment, and test report generation;
- Contribute strategies for new radio applications, re-assessments, module integrations, radio co-transmission and RF exposure conformity.
- Perform samples verification and troubleshooting system design, performance and optimization, and recommend configuration review documentation and product TCF files for regulatory and PTCRB, GCF, Bluetooth SIG certification;
- Verify test setups and device connectivity, debug test samples and analyze technical files including antenna specifications, schematics, block diagram, operational description to create submission files;
- Solve technical problems and propose risk mitigation strategies to troubleshoot test setup, including hardware/firmware connectivity issues and RF/EMC debugging.
Requiring a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related, and one-year experience on the job offer, or in Electrical Testing Professional positions. Experience must include: one (1) year experience in testing on RF/EMC and radiator device using GSM/GPRS/UMTS/LTE/5G devices.
