Associate Electrical Engineer
About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Associate Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic team and contribute to exciting projects in building services systems. Based in California, you will work on groundbreaking projects in sectors like higher education, museums, commercial developments, and more. Your technical expertise will help deliver innovative solutions while collaborating with a dedicated team of professionals.

What youll be doing:
- Collaborating with clients, architects, and a multidisciplinary team to produce detailed design drawings, reports, and specifications.
- Coordinating with utility companies and securing electrical permits.
- Leading the design of electrical engineering solutions, from concept to detail design stages.
- Managing project financial performance and organizing technical and financial proposals.
- Mentoring junior engineers and overseeing the quality of project deliverables.
- Engaging in high-level problem-solving, troubleshooting, and client-facing presentations.
- Using Revit and other computational analysis tools for electrical fault analysis and lighting design.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering design within the building services and construction industry.
- Experience in sectors like higher education, museums, commercial, transportation hubs, or stadiums.
- A relevant bachelors or masters degree.
- Proficiency in design software such as Revit and computational analysis tools.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and experience solving complex technical challenges.
- Client-facing experience with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Must have worked on electrical engineering projects in California.
Desirable:
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification.
- LEED AP accreditation.
