POSITION SUMMARY:

The Salesforce Technical Architect role is a senior-level individual contributor role. You will be assigned multiple projects at a time and will be required to lead the technical aspect of projects. You may be part of a larger project team of Solution Architects and Developers. You also may be assigned to lead your own projects. Senior Developers possess broad knowledge across multiple development platforms and draw on their experience to assess customer requirements to design and implement secure, high-performance technical solutions. As a Salesforce Technical Architect, you will drive the technical solutions for client facing implementations by providing clients with technical recommendations leveraging your industry experience coupled with your knowledge of Northteq s products.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Translates client business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Can understand complex interdependent requirements and translate them into solid technical solutions that are scalable and aligned with project objectives and industry standards
  • Produces high quality project-level technical design artifacts.
  • Provides technical guidance and direction on implementation projects to Northteq internal project team and clients. Builds relationships with clients and is a sought-after resource for projects.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and drive issue to resolution. Trusted by clients and colleagues as a reliable problem-solver and key trusted advisor with a reputation for delivering tangible results.
  • Develops Cloud Based Solutions using the Salesforce.com framework: Javascript, Apex, and Lightning Web Components.
  • Can design complex solutions utilizing flows and apex solutions along with other technologies and structures. Debugs complex problems and identifies solutions to drive optimal performance. Develops APIs to and from other systems: RESTful APIs to other systems. Utilizes industry best practices.
  • Stays current with Northteq products and technologies. Constantly recommends and implements high value improvements.
  • Adheres and contributes to, and champions Northteq's Development best practices. Leverages lessons learned from previous assignments and experiences to improve overall quality and delivery.
  • Suggests opportunities for collaboration to maximize the output of the team. Promotes shared goals and accountabilities across teams.
  • Proactively guides and mentors less experienced resources. Leads and challenges others to think critically.
  • Considered an expert in the company on Northteq s products and technologies. Drives timeline, requirements, features and development through broad influence.
  • Uses planning skills to consistently and effectively achieve results across projects and initiatives in the organization.
  • Provides accurate estimates of work effort based on client requirements, and documents assumptions made in the estimation process, if applicable
  • Applies expertise that results in additional viable client opportunities, expanded knowledge at Northteq or development of intellectual capital.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor s degree in business, computer science or system engineering
  • 5+ number of years' developing experience
  • Salesforce certifications (preferred)

Education and certifications can be earned in role.

  • Expert ability to understand business requirements and translate into technical design documents for highly complex solutions.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • This position is remote.
  • If the employee is located in the Twin Cities Metro area of MN, office space can be provided in our WeWork office.
  • There may be occasional in person meetings.
  • Travel is minimal but can increase based on client or Company needs.
