Location: Austin, TX (Day 1 Onsite 4 Days/week)

Job Description:

Experience: 14+ Years

Mandatory Skills: Overall 14+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture and Solution Architecture.

Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).

Strong experience leading enterprise cloud transformation and modernization initiatives.

Expertise in designing scalable, secure, highly available, resilient, and cost-optimized cloud architectures.

Experience defining cloud adoption strategies, target-state architecture, and modernization roadmaps.

Strong experience driving Enterprise DevOps transformation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption.

Experience establishing enterprise governance, security, compliance, and operational frameworks.

Experience conducting architecture assessments and technical due diligence for enterprise transformation initiatives.

Strong stakeholder management and ability to mentor Solution Architects, Technical Leads, and engineering teams.

Excellent understanding of distributed systems, enterprise integration, and cloud-native architecture patterns.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Lead enterprise cloud architecture initiatives with a primary focus on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).

Define enterprise cloud strategy, architecture principles, and cloud modernization roadmaps.

Design enterprise landing zones, resource hierarchy, IAM strategy, networking, and governance models.

Architect cloud-native, containerized, microservices-based, and serverless applications.

Define migration strategies including Lift-and-Shift, Re-platforming, Refactoring, and Re-architecting.

Design enterprise integration solutions using event-driven and API-led architecture patterns.

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Google Cloud Deployment Manager.

Establish enterprise CI/CD, DevOps, and automation frameworks.

Design enterprise security architecture including IAM, Organization Policies, Audit Logging, and Security Command Center.

Provide architecture governance, design reviews, technical leadership, and mentoring.

Drive cloud performance optimization, scalability, resiliency, disaster recovery, and FinOps best practices.

Technical Skills:

Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform): Google Cloud Resource Manager, Google Cloud Organizations, Compute Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Run.

Enterprise Architecture: Enterprise Integration, Distributed Systems, Cloud-Native Architecture, Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, Google Cloud Deployment Manager.

Security & Governance: Google Cloud IAM, Security Command Center, Cloud Audit Logs, Organization Policy Service.

Data & Analytics: BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub.

DevOps & CI/CD: Cloud Build, Cloud Deploy, CI/CD Pipeline Design, DevOps Automation.

Networking & Hybrid Cloud: Cloud VPN, Cloud Interconnect, Hybrid Cloud Connectivity.

Cloud Modernization: Application Modernization (Monolith to Microservices), Containerization, Serverless Architecture, Cloud Migration Strategies (Lift-and-Shift, Re-platforming, Re-architecting), Performance Tuning, Cost Optimization (FinOps).
