`Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including lead generation, market research, and networking in the field of Information Technology consulting.
Build and maintain client relationships, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions.
Assist in gathering talking points and information used collateral (Deck, brochure, etc.) and coordinate with marketing team to build out content requested by potential and current customers.
Conduct PoC (proof of concept) demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features, benefits, and capabilities of the company's solutions and/or services in coordination with technical SMEs.
Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and negotiate contracts with clients.
Lead sales presentations/pitch for clients with assistance from technical SMEs
Collaborate with internal teams, such as product development and engineering, to gather technical information and ensure accurate representation of product/service capabilities.
Track activities and opportunities in Salesforce CRM
Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
Make outbound calls and emails to drive business growth.
Travel to client site as needed to assist in closing new opportunities and logos.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Bachelor's degree in Business Administration Marketing, or a related field.
Experience in Information technology consultative selling of minimum 5 years
Experience selling software solution services
Proven track record in business development, sales, or a related role.
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of relevant technologies, products, and solutions.
Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of the IT industry and understanding of technology solutions is preferred.
Familiarity with Salesforce CRM
Proven track record of closing high value net new logos.
Proactive approach to hunting for new business
Strong customer service skills with a focus on customer retention and account management
Must be capable of building lasting rapport and relationships with potential and existing clients.
