Will also be responsible for coordinating software implementation related to new product launch and warranty support.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
- Evaluation of software changes and the impact to the production process
- Coordinates testing of new engine software through all aspects of production
- Validation of new software operation during engine calibration
- Work with global development team to provide timely feedback of software release testing
- Lead activities related to software implementation for new product launch
- Provide production support with evaluation of ECU and electrical sensor/actuator issues
- Support Product Development and Field Service to resolve production based concerns
Qualifications & Skills
- BS degree in mechanical, electrical, or equivalent engineering experience required
- Three (3) plus years relevant work experience
- Self-directed, excellent analysis and engineering judgment
- Organized and disciplined with ability to manage personal workload
- Willingness and initiative to respond to shifting time and project demands
- Understanding of engine software control/communication systems and architecture
- Experience in engine test environment preferred
