Requisition Summary

Work with DAF Product Development, PACCAR Technical Center, and the PACCAR Engine Company to evaluate software changes, coordinate software testing, and provide feedback to global development team. Will also be responsible for coordinating software implementation related to new product launch and warranty support.

Job Functions / Responsibilities
  • Evaluation of software changes and the impact to the production process
  • Coordinates testing of new engine software through all aspects of production
  • Validation of new software operation during engine calibration
  • Work with global development team to provide timely feedback of software release testing
  • Lead activities related to software implementation for new product launch
  • Provide production support with evaluation of ECU and electrical sensor/actuator issues
  • Support Product Development and Field Service to resolve production based concerns

Qualifications & Skills
  • BS degree in mechanical, electrical, or equivalent engineering experience required
  • Three (3) plus years relevant work experience
  • Self-directed, excellent analysis and engineering judgment
  • Organized and disciplined with ability to manage personal workload
  • Willingness and initiative to respond to shifting time and project demands
  • Understanding of engine software control/communication systems and architecture
  • Experience in engine test environment preferred
