Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Sr. Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.

This person is primarily responsible for developing and negotiating terms and conditions agreements for the sector and the Northrop Grumman Enterprise.

Essential Functions
  • Lead Negotiator developing multifaceted Subcontract Strategic Terms and Conditions Agreements with designated suppliers at the NGAS sector level as well as Northrop Grumman Corporate Enterprise level.
  • Team Leader coordinating Northrop Grumman's internal group's response to supplier's exceptions on Terms Agreements.
  • Develop associated workforce guidance for each term agreement.
  • Provide Terms training to general Global Supply Chain (GSC) community.
  • Provide input to Compliance on associated Work Instructions and processes.
  • Effectively and efficiently communicate with greater GSC community, subject matter experts and executive leadership.
  • Work independently while efficiently completing assigned projects.
  • Be a subject matter expert on the Northrop Grumman Enterprise Terms and Conditions, as well as the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS).
  • Provide support to the greater Global Supply Chain (GSC) community on Terms negotiations.
  • Integrate with Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Category Management supporting the development of long-term opportunities.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of experience, master's degree with at least 6 years of experience OR 12 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience must be in Supply Chain Subcontracts/Procurement
  • Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS requirements
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP purchasing system software
  • Experience with MS Office suite
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in international studies, Supply Chain, or Business Administration (MBA) with experience in USG export licenses and agreements.
  • Experience leading a team project or process.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Experience negotiating with outside agencies.
  • Lead Six Sigma certification.
Salary Range: $103,200 - $154,800
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
