Job Details

3 days remote and 2 days in office per week.
Wireless Network Transport Engineer that will focus on the configuration and documentation of Ethernet backhaul routers and switches for wireless fronthaul and backhaul. Nokia router experience highly preferred.
Must have:
-Previous experience as a Transport or WAN network engineer working on wireless backhaul network.
-Advanced knowledge of routing and switching hardware/software. Experience with Nokia products such IXR-E IXR-S WBX 7750 preferred.
- Expert knowledge of IPv6
-Strong IP Knowledge subnetting routing protocol MPLS includes CLI interface hands-on
- Previous experience using Granite/XNG/CND or other circuit/path inventory system
Even better if you have:
- any of these certifications:
- Nokia Certifications SRA MRP
- CISCO Certifications CCNA CCIP CCIE.
- experience working with DWDM optical systems including Ciena 6500 and Fujitsu 9500
-Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Electronics Engineering or equivalent military experience
- Wireless voice and data service experience including: CDMA LTE
- Transport test equipment experience including JDSU EXPO spectrum analyzers and path analyzers OTDR
-knowledge of Nokia router translations tools e.g. Service Portal
-advanced experience with Granite/XNG/CND
Hybrid position - 3 days remote and 2 days in office per week. Office locations are Wallingford CT or Medway MA
