Work you'll do/Responsibilities
- We are looking for a PeopleSoft HCM professional with core functional expertise in HR, Benefits, Payroll, Recruitment, and Onboarding, to execute critical testing activities.
- Ability to apply deep understanding of PeopleSoft HCM functionalities will be paramount in guaranteeing system quality. Leverage functional knowledge to design and execute test plans and test cases for Core HR, Benefits, Payroll, Recruitment (External/Internal), and Onboarding processes.
- One should be able to apply understanding of PeopleSoft HCM configurations to conduct thorough end-to-end testing, including data validation, system integration, and support UAT.
Key Responsibilities:
Applying Functional Expertise to Drive Testing:
- Utilize deep functional knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM modules to analyze requirements and design effective test scenarios.
- Provide functional guidance to ensure thorough and effective testing
- Leverage configuration expertise to identify test scenarios and create test cases that validate system customizations.
- Apply functional design documents to develop comprehensive test plans.
Functional Consultant Role: System Testing and Support:
- Utilize PeopleSoft HCM functional consulting knowledge to perform comprehensive testing across all implementation phases, ensuring requirements, design, and development align.
- Apply functional expertise to provide ongoing support, addressing user inquiries and troubleshooting issues during testing and post-implementation.
- Execute system testing and UAT with a focus on functional validation, guaranteeing system functionality and data integrity.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and end-users.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Provide training and support to QA team on PeopleSoft HCM functionalities.

- Managed Services: Operate services that provide ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and optimization for IT/Engineering applications & products.
Qualifications Required:
Primary Skillset: PeopleSoft HCM Functional Expertise
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience as a PeopleSoft Functional Consultant with a focus on Core HCM modules (HR, Benefits, Payroll, Recruitment, and Onboarding).
- Strong understanding of PeopleSoft HCM functional processes and configurations.
- Proven experience in requirements gathering, functional design, and system implementation.
- Experienced in the following modules: core HR , Benefits and NA payroll. Have knowledge of the core tables been used in these modules.
- Have in depth knowledge on Hiring and recruiting an employee into Peoplesoft system.
- Have a good understanding of the position management in Peoplesoft.
- Experienced in NA payroll and Benefit enrollment process
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
- Ability to work 3 days a week in NYC, on-site
Secondary Skillset: Testing and QA Focus
- Experience in ensuring system quality through system testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Understanding of SDLC methodologies for effective testing processes.
- Strong skills in data validation and system integration testing to guarantee system integrity.
- Demonstrated experience in creating test plans, drafting test cases, and delivering comprehensive test completion reports.
- Proven ability to manage defects effectively, ensuring timely resolution.
- Familiarity with project management tools (ALM, Jira, ClickUp)
Preferred
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
