Job Details

The Plant Master Data Manager (PMDM) will act as the subject matter expert on all topics related to Master Data, Material, Product, Bill of Materials, Routings, Logistics Data, etc. the PMDM will support business projects and governance, and quality operations. Coordinate the Cleansing, creation, and maintenance of master data in the ERP System and support/admin Cycle Count Program (when applicable).

The role will commence at our facility in Smyrna, TN, and subsequently relocate to MT Juliet, TN.

What will you do?
  • Prepare the Manufacturing plant for ERP Implementation and Digital transformation.
  • Ensure compliance and security of data assets.
  • Responsible for the Cleansing of the material master data in the plant.
  • Plant Master Data Manager (PMDM) will be responsible for the material master, creating parts, activating the part when ready, obsolete, and changing parts according to lifecycle and projects.
  • Coordinate with the plant Data Coordinators/Key Users for all concerned domains.
  • Provide localized training for plant master data coordinators and other employees.
  • Assess the performance of plant Data. Coordinators in meeting business needs and data quality requirements and work with Master Data Coordinators and their supervisors to address performance issues.
  • Administer One Shuttle tool (used to coordinate the creation, update, and deletion of data).
  • Responsible for the Inventory Accuracy and Cycle count program in site (when applicable).

What qualifications will make you successful?

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business or related field is required.
  • 3+ years in materials management, manufacturing, quality or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience working with databases and writing SQL queries.
  • 1+ years of experience with data management and data quality.
  • 2+ years effectively communicating complex topics and knowledge transfer with non-technical users
