Duration: 12+ months

We are seeking a System Engineer to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of telecommunication infrastructure projects with a focus on public safety and emergency response systems. This role involves conducting site assessments, planning improvements, managing construction/installation, and ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and industry regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of telecommunications facilities including towers, power systems, HVAC, and generators
• Experience with site planning, acquisition, and development
• Hands-on experience in project and construction management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Smartsheet (or similar project tools)
• Familiar with regulatory compliance: FCC, FAA, CEQA/NEPA, BICSI, EIA/TIA
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills

Preferred Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience (in the last 8 years) working on public safety radio communication systems and telecom site infrastructure
• Familiarity with environmental compliance review and permitting processes
• Experience managing contractors and site development projects end-to-end

Education

• Preferred: Bachelor s degree in electrical, Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, Facility, or Aerospace Engineering or Physics
• Equivalent experience may be considered in place of formal education (1 year of experience = 1 year of education)
