We're looking for someone to:

join us in an engaged and mission-critical role as a Network Operations Engineer in the Network Services team responsible for day-to-day management and service oversight of the global network
provide second level troubleshooting across the network infrastructure focusing on operational activities, incident resolution, problem management and request management
work closely with the ITIL control functions and third level network engineers to management the operational lifecycle of network events, incidents, and requests
offer a strategic opportunity to work closely with IT leadership to make a real impact in terms of production stability, continuous service improvement and best practice sharing across the environment

Your expertise

ideally, 3+ years industry experience with strong knowledge in network technologies and incident management, ideally in the Financial Services industry.
network professional with CCNP certification or equivalent level of experience working in a 2nd line infrastructure role along with proven analytical, conceptual, problem-solving, and problem management abilities
demonstrable track record of support and troubleshooting of core network enterprise infrastructure and devices around Cisco (JUNOS, Cisco IOS/Nexus), Juniper (Juniper MX,EX & SRX platforms) and Arista technologies as well as experience in working with MPLS wide area networks.
strong understanding and troubleshooting skills across all key technologies in Enterprise Data Center and Client LAN Networks (e.g. ACI, VRF, HSRP, VPC, LACP, QoS, Multicast); WAN technologies (e.g. SDWAN, MPLS); Public Cloud providers (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform ); WiFi products and technologies (Cisco, Meraki)
strong understanding and troubleshooting skills across routing protocols (e.g. EIGRP, OSPF, BGP) and key network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP & UDP, SNMP, FTP, TFTP, SSH, IPSec)
experience with Cisco products is essential (e.g. Cisco ACI, Cisco DNAC, N9Ks, Cat9Ks); Arista and Juniper Routers & Switches is desirable
experience with Network/Monitoring tools (e.g. Grafana, Zabbix, Splunk, ThousandEyes) and Network Sniffers (e.g. Wireshark/ TCPDUMP etc.)
desired experience with Load Balancers (e.g. F5, Citrix), DHCP/DNS applications (e.g. Infoblox), Firewalls (e.g. Palo Alto, Fortinet)
