This hybrid remote position must be local to the Northern, VA, DC, and MD areas.

Due to Federal Governement Security Clearance Requirements: U.S. Citizenship and Active DoD Secret Clearance.

PRISM seeks a highly skilled eDiscovery/Forensics Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will have a strong background in digital forensics and eDiscovery processes and experience working with classified data. This position requires a meticulous approach to data analysis, a deep understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks, and a commitment to maintaining the highest data security standards.

Responsibilities

  • eDiscovery Process Management:

    • Oversee the eDiscovery process, including preservation, collection, processing, review, and production of electronic data.

    • Develop and implement eDiscovery strategies and workflows.

    • Coordinate with legal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of eDiscovery services.

  • Digital Forensics Investigations:

    • Conduct in-depth digital forensics investigations to identify, collect, and analyze data from various electronic sources.

    • Utilize advanced forensic tools and techniques to extract relevant data from computers, mobile devices, and cloud-based systems.

    • Create detailed forensic reports documenting findings and methodologies.

  • Data Analysis and Review:

    • Analyze large datasets to identify relevant information and evidence.

    • Employ data mining and filtering techniques to streamline review processes.

    • Assist in the development and implementation of review protocols and quality control measures.

  • Security and Compliance:

    • Ensure strict adherence to data security and privacy regulations, including the handling of classified information.

    • Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data throughout the eDiscovery process.

    • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret clearance.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Forensics, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in eDiscovery and digital forensics.

  • Strong understanding of eDiscovery concepts, methodologies, and tools.

  • Proficiency in digital forensics tools and techniques (e.g., EnCase, Cellebrite, FTK).

  • Experience working with various data formats and file systems.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Familiarity with legal and regulatory frameworks related to eDiscovery and data privacy.
