Summary

The SVP, Operational Performance is responsible for providing operational expertise and internal consulting across all business units in the One Redwire model. The successful candidate will create a model of operational excellence across the enterprise and drive future company-wide performance initiatives to optimize operations and program execution. This is an essential role that requires broad operational expertise, relationship-building and communication abilities.

The ideal candidate should have experience in leading a small team to analyze, implement and track process improvement and performance optimization programs. Expertise in consulting, program management, business process improvement and performance metrics required. Extensive experience in implementing standard operating procedures, processes to facilitate best in class delivery, knowledge and resource sharing as well as best practices and tools to drive efficiency across a growing business.
Responsibilities

Lead ongoing optimization of the operating and governance model across a diverse set of offerings and products with input from key stakeholders.

Lead a small team of experts to design, implement and measure business process improvement initiatives.

Develop and instill processes, workflows and tools that support the effective delivery of integrated work. Contribute to a culture of efficiency and excellence across disciplines and business units.

Assist business unit leaders in optimizing use of Enterprise Resource Planning tools and LEAN culture.

Maintain and enforce high standards of communications and documentation, including status and financial reports, timelines, scopes, change orders, burn reports and forecasting, best practices and asset management.

Proactively manage, provide guidance, and develop clear communication standards around program and business-related risks, including mitigation planning.

Partner with internal stakeholders to continuously optimize existing operational processes and systems, ensuring buy-in throughout.

Develop key performance metrics and the associated reporting and tracking mechanisms required to measure success.

Ideal Experience

10+ years' experience in aerospace or similar industry.

5+ years of experience in operational consulting, business process engineering and/or operations research.

Expertise in LEAN and other process improvement concepts and standards

Expert-level knowledge in project management, including scoping, staffing, estimating, managing burn, deadlines, budget, mitigating risk

Ability to incorporate innovation into their excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analysis skills

Superior communication skills, (written and verbal) - ability to comfortably and succinctly present to a diverse set of senior leadership team members internally and client-side.

Proven management skills: ability to inspire and coach staff.

Networking and interpersonal skills (influencer and relationship-builder): highly refined, positive internal working relationships at all levels and within all departments.

- Ability to obtain a Security Clearance

- Ability to travel 25- 50% as needed
