Job DescriptionCompany Description
The Project Coordinator Manager will lead a team of project coordinators responsible for managing countertop fabrication and installation projects. This role involves overseeing the coordination and execution of multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet client specifications. The Project Coordinator Manager will act as the liaison between clients, fabricators, installation teams, and suppliers, ensuring seamless communication and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor a team of project coordinators, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure their success in delivering projects. - Project Oversight:
Oversee all phases of countertop fabrication projects managed by the team, from design and material selection to fabrication and installation. - Client Relationship Management:
Ensure all client requirements are met by acting as an escalation point for project coordinators. Build and maintain positive relationships with key clients. - Scheduling & Resource Allocation:
Ensure that project schedules, production timelines, and installation appointments are well-coordinated by the team. Allocate team resources to meet project deadlines and handle workflow peaks. - Quality Control:
Work with production and installation teams to ensure that all projects meet the company s quality standards and client expectations. - Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
Track the progress of multiple projects and provide regular status updates to senior management. Identify and address potential risks or delays. - Vendor & Supplier Coordination:
Work with material suppliers and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and services. Resolve any issues related to supply chain or vendor performance. - Process Improvement:
Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes, systems, and communication workflows to enhance team efficiency and project delivery. - Problem Solving:
Proactively manage project-related challenges, such as design revisions, delays, or client concerns. Implement solutions that keep projects on track and within scope.
Requirements:
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in project management or coordination, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in the countertops fabrication industry or related fields (e.g., construction, home improvement, or custom manufacturing).
- Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of countertop fabrication processes, materials (e.g., granite, quartz, marble), and installation techniques.
- Proficiency in project management software (Moraware).
- Familiarity with CAD or other design software is a plus.
- Leadership & Communication:
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide team members.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Organizational & Time Management Skills:
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in project documentation, timelines, and budgets.
- Problem Solving:
- Ability to quickly identify challenges, think critically, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
