Software Tester
The Opportunity:

We're looking for a passionate software tester to work with a fast-paced, highly collaborative software development team building and launching capability for Enterprise web-based systems in the Cybersecurity field. You'll have the opportunity to work on automation of nation-level, mission-critical security processes, workflows, and sensor data in risk management, compliance, vulnerability management, and continuous monitoring.

You'll be responsible for rapidly understanding and documenting complex system business rules, functionality, data state permutations, and edge cases. You'll review features to design test cases, document functionality, and create or maintain regression test scripts. You'll conduct functional testing, including new feature testing and regression testing of a large, Enterprise web-based application interface and REST API. You'll troubleshoot and analyze production bugs, user-reported issues, and work with developers to resolve issues.

You'll leverage your expertise to work with a diverse team of analysts and engineers to build, test, and deploy operate system capabilities.

You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience working on software development teams
  • 2+ years of experience with testing of complex web application UIs and APIs
  • 2+ years of experience with documenting test cases and scripts
  • Experience with programming and scripting, including Python, C#, Java, Go, Bash, or Powershell
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree


Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with test automation and CI/CD, including Selenium or Jenkins
  • Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF), ATO processes, including NIST SP 800-53, and GRC tools, including eMASS, Archer, SNOW, or Xacta
  • Experience with web application development, including HTML, CSS, Javascript, C#, Java, Go, or SQL
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Master's degree
  • DoD 8570 IAT II Certification, including Security+ or CISSP


Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
