Job Description

The Teledyne FLIR is seeking a Computer Vision engineer. You will be working in our highly dynamic Digital Team, working on state-of-the-art video signal processing and perception applications. We use the latest generation of embedded SoC's with built in AI acceleration to offer solutions to some of the most challenging problems in industrial and defense sensing. In your role your will be asked to develop and implement solutions for multispectral sensing products. You have a strong interest to work in the computer vision and machine learning field and have some prior experience. This position is open for early career or college level applicants.

Skills/experience
  • A technical degree or equivalent experience
  • Computer vision application development (from college or work) (required)
  • Detection and tracking application experience (plus, not required)
  • Experience developing/using machine vision techniques (ex. DNN) (required)
  • Data science experience (ex. data curation, model training) (plus)
  • Languages C/C++ and/or Python (required)
  • OS - Linux (required)
  • Familiarity with open-source CV libraries and tools (plus)
  • Familiarity with Agile development environments (ex. SCRUM) (plus)
  • Experience with Qualcomm or Nvidia based hardware systems (desired)
  • Familiarity with Docker, AWS, Jenkins, GitHub based toolchain (desired)
  • Experience with reading and understanding relevant academic research (required)


Salary Range:
$59,400.00-$79,310.000
