Job Overview:
We are seeking a Morpheus Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead the configuration, integration, and operational support of the Morpheus Data hybrid cloud management platform. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise with the platform and a strong background in enterprise IT infrastructure, automation, and service orchestration, particularly in regulated environments like pharmaceuticals or life sciences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary Morpheus platform expert across enterprise infrastructure initiatives.
- Design and implement blueprints, workflows, policies, and role-based access controls in Morpheus.
- Lead the integration of Morpheus with VMware, public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), and configuration tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Partner with cloud, DevOps, and security teams to drive automation and self-service provisioning aligned with enterprise standards.
- Integrate Morpheus with enterprise systems such as ServiceNow, CMDBs, monitoring tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot issues related to platform performance, provisioning, and integrations.
- Provide documentation, training, and best practices to internal technical teams to support long-term platform adoption.
- Ensure all implementations align with compliance, governance, and regulatory requirements common to the pharmaceutical industry.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Morpheus Data SME in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong background in hybrid cloud infrastructure, automation, and virtualization (e.g., VMware, KVM, Hyper-V).
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Bash).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and enterprise IT environments.
- Knowledge of ITSM and CMDB tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., pharmaceuticals, biotech, or healthcare).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Morpheus platform certification or formal training.
- Experience integrating Morpheus into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains.
- Prior work in pharma or life sciences infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with audit, compliance, and documentation processes in regulated industries.
