Description

In this role, you will: - Lead and Develop a Diverse Team: Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of a team responsible for delivering exceptional technical expertise in pre-sales engagements.- Consult with Senior Executives and Technical Experts: Provide strategic advice to Apple's customers by engaging with senior executives and technical experts. Collaborate to deliver tailored solutions at the most complex and large-scale levels.- Deep Customer Understanding: Gain a comprehensive understanding of customer organizations, focusing on their deployment, management, integration, and security requirements. Align these needs with their broader technical aspirations.- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration with internal teams, including Sales, Channel, WW Product Marketing, WW Business Markets, Software Engineering, Cloud Engineering, and strategic solution partners. Work together to transform the way people work and learn.- Strategic Sales Initiatives and Technical Strategies: Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives and technical strategies in collaboration with a cross-functional sales team.- Complex Customer Conversations: Lead intricate, customer-facing discussions regarding architecture, development, and deployment to deliver customized solutions.- Technical Requirements Synthesis: Synthesize technical requirements across various sectors, including Education, Enterprise, Government, and Healthcare. Develop cohesive technical product requirements to guide internal stakeholders and influence product direction.- Technical Training and Enablement. Ensure that System Engineers and the broader sales organization possess the requisite knowledge and skills to effectively market Apple products.- Team Support and Development: Foster a supportive work environment by setting clear individual and team goals, identifying opportunities for mentorship, and implementing development programs to enhance essential skills and knowledge.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience.
  • Deep knowledge of Apple products and complex technical solutions.
  • Proven technical sales experience in the Education, Enterprise, Healthcare, or Government sectors, with a preference for multiple market experiences.
  • Ability to build, lead, and develop inclusive teams and attract and retain talent through performance management, coaching, guidance, and support.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $200,400 and $301,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
