We're looking for an Authorized Officer, Tech DevOps Engineer to:

Provide technical support for critical deployments and deployment platforms.
Work on mainframe environment with Microfocus ChangeMan tool.
Work in a distributed environment with Microfocus Deployment Automation tool, which includes Middleware, Apache Tomcat and IBM WebSphere, Database, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Sybase and MSSQL.
Maintain workload management with Autosys OS, Linux and Wintel server.
Provide hands on production support for several applications in WMA Tools and Automation portfolio.
Ensure production stability and availability for key deployment automation ecosystem tools and services.
Handle incident escalation and management.
Collaborate with development & infrastructure staff as well as third party support vendors to implement efficient strategic solutions.
Conduct deep-dive post-mortems and prioritize remediation activities with delivery teams.
Drive process improvement initiatives alongside global production support projects.
Understand impact and urgency to be able to triage cases and escalate or park them depending on priority.
Ensure service reliability and availability of the DevOps platforms.
Assist developers in troubleshooting their use of DevOps platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
Responds to questions and inquiries in a timely and service-oriented manner.
Develop expertise in middleware, certificates, and databases as needed.

Your expertise

This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering (any), Information Technology and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Senior Specialist, Software Engineer, or a related occupation.
