Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and enhance mechanical components and systems using SolidWorks.
  • Oversee and manage the entire product development cycle, from initial concept to production.
  • Conduct mechanical testing on products to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Design and develop machinery and equipment layouts, optimizing for efficiency and safety.
  • Prepare and interpret detailed engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Implement and manage preventative maintenance programs for machinery and equipment.
  • Perform engineering analysis to predict and improve product performance.
  • Utilize 3D printing technologies for prototyping and manufacturing.
  • Manage and oversee projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality control, to ensure products meet the desired specifications and quality standards.
  • Continually evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. A Master's degree will be considered an advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and other relevant CAD software.
  • Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and product development.
  • Experience in mechanical testing and machine design.
  • Ability to interpret and prepare detailed engineering drawings.
  • Experience in implementing and managing preventative maintenance programs.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed engineering analysis.
  • Experience with 3D printing technologies.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to find innovative solutions to engineering challenges.
