Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Support Engineer with skills in Microsoft 365 administration, SharePoint management, Microsoft Intune setup, mail exchange, VPN services, file server management, and Datto RMM tools. This role involves providing comprehensive technical support, system configuration, and proactive maintenance to ensure seamless and secure IT operations for our clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Microsoft 365 Administration:
    Manage Microsoft 365 services, including user provisioning, license management, and troubleshooting across applications such as SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Exchange.
  • SharePoint Management:
    Set up, configure, and manage SharePoint Online sites, libraries, and permissions. Support teams with site customization, content organization, and troubleshooting access and integration issues.
  • Microsoft Intune Setup and Management:
    Deploy and manage devices using Microsoft Intune. Configure compliance policies, app management, and security protocols to ensure safe and efficient endpoint management across the organization.
  • Mail Exchange (Microsoft Exchange/Exchange Online):
    Administer email exchange services, managing configurations, security, and troubleshooting to ensure reliable email communication.
  • VPN Services:
    Configure and support Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) to secure remote connections. Monitor and troubleshoot VPN connections to ensure secure access for remote users.
  • File Server Management:
    Manage file servers, perform data backups, maintain access permissions, and conduct regular maintenance to ensure secure and organized data storage.
  • Datto RMM and Cloud Backup:
    Operate Datto Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools to oversee system performance, automate tasks, and deploy security patches. Manage Datto Cloud Backup to ensure reliable backups and data recovery.
  • Advanced Software Management:
    Utilize advanced software management tools for software deployment, security patching, and system compliance.
  • Troubleshooting and Support:
    Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues. Provide Tier 1 and 2 technical support and escalate complex issues as needed.
  • User Training & Documentation:
    Conduct user training on SharePoint, Intune policies, security practices, and other IT resources. Maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and policy documentation.


Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in IT support or system administration.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration, including SharePoint, Intune, and Exchange.
  • Proficiency in VPN configuration and management.
  • Experience with file server management and Datto RMM tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to IT support.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.


Preferred Skills

  • Certifications in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or Intune.
  • Knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Windows Server environments, and network security best practices.
  • Familiarity with enterprise mobility management, endpoint security, and cloud data management.
