Description
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an iOS Developer in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. You will be part of a team focused on developing the leading mobile commerce platform. Your role will involve working across various iOS mediums on a range of projects in a collaborative, problem-solving environment.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with large scale retail clients and their API developers to enhance the functionality of apps
Advise on Objective-C & Swift best practices, organization, and automation to improve code quality
Participate in the development and maintenance of native iOS tools to reduce duplication of work
Contribute to third-party frameworks and implement new iOS technologies following research and experimentation
Ensure secure coding practices are followed and participate in ongoing security training and awareness
Optimize UI/UX elements within apps to provide the fastest, smoothest user experience
Share knowledge with the mobile development team to foster a learning environment
Implement and maintain app functionality for the world's largest retailers to ensure smooth operations
Use Atlassian Jira, Backend Development, Bug Tracking, Cocoa Framework, GitHub, AB Testing, Agile Scrum, Animation, and API Development skills to enhance app performance and user experience.
Requirements
Proficiency in Atlassian Jira is a must for project management and tracking.
Previous experience in Backend Development is necessary to understand the overall technical needs of the project.
A strong understanding of Bug Tracking tools and methodologies is required to ensure software quality.
Familiarity with Cocoa Framework is essential for developing native iOS applications.
Experience with GitHub for version control and code sharing is necessary.
Knowledge of AB Testing is a crucial requirement for optimizing user experience and app performance.
Prior experience with Agile Scrum methodology is needed for efficient project execution.
Strong skills in Animation are necessary for developing engaging and interactive UI/UX.
Proficiency in API Development is required to ensure seamless integration with backend services.
Familiarity with Apple Devices, their features, and functionalities is needed for effective iOS app development.
