As the IT SME, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor and will advise the Government Program Manager (PM) regarding technical questions and issues that may arise from the various systems the PM is overseeing.
Your responsibilities will include the following:
- Providing technical expertise in creating, updating, maintaining, and visualizing software architecture to include data
- Providing technical documentation to support the architecture of the portfolio of projects to include Concept of Operations (CONOPs)
- Serving as a technical liaison with regard to system architecture that focuses on performance, availability, redundancy, data protection, and information security
- Collaborating with customers to evaluate mission drivers, identify challenges, define mitigation strategies, assess applications, develop transition plans, and develop business cases in support of Cloud and other initiatives
- Providing technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high-level systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and providing implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems that need extensive knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation
- Assisting the customer with technical oversight of the Service Provider(s) for the portfolio of projects
- Providing technical leadership for the integration of IT requirements, design, and technology
- Interacting with the Government regarding systems engineering IT technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts
- Facilitate metrics across the IC community
Qualifications
Required:
- Active TS/SCI with Poly
- Bachelor's degree and fourteen (14) years or more of relevant experience; Master's degree and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience
- 3-5 years of experience working within an IC Agency, preferably ODNI
- 3+ years of hands on experience with Cloud and Enterprise Architecture
- Experience with Geospatial tools such as ESRI
- Experience with IT governance
- Broad experience and understanding to be able to provide sound technical advice to the Government PM on a range of topics
- Ability to call balls and strikes in meetings with other technical personnel for the customer
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
