Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a vital part of our manufacturing operations, working to develop, test, and optimize electrical systems. This role is a permanent position, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects with a focus on mixed signal, discrete circuit design, and analog design. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our operations, using your expertise to drive innovation and efficiency in our electrical systems.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Electrical Engineer will be tasked with the following responsibilities:
1. Lead the design, development, and testing of electrical equipment, components, or systems in manufacturing operations.
2. Implement and oversee the production of mixed signal, discrete circuit design, and analog design.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical systems align with overall project objectives.
4. Apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.
5. Analyze and interpret data to inform design decisions and solve complex problems.
6. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards.
7. Supervise and mentor junior electrical engineers, fostering a culture of continued learning and improvement.
8. Stay updated with latest advancements in electrical engineering and participate in educational opportunities and professional organizations to maintain a cutting-edge industry knowledge.
9. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical systems in a timely and efficient manner.
10. Prepare technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Electrical Engineer position will possess the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
2. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven expertise in mixed signal, discrete circuit design, and analog design.
4. Strong understanding of electrical manufacturing processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
5. Proficiency in using design and calculation software.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively.
7. Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9. Professional Engineering (PE) certification is preferred.
10. Knowledge of applicable codes related to electronic engineering.
11. Proficiency in design and layout of PCBs.
