Sr. Software Engineer, Salesforce (Remote)

We have an immediate need for direct hire Sr. Software Engineer, Salesforce to join our client, a leading supplier of power and energy products across the US. The Sr. Software Engineer, Salesforce leads activities relating to designing, building, testing, implementing and maintaining solutions, products and processes.

Location: Baltimore, Maryland (Remote)

This job expects to pay about $115,000 130,000 annually plus benefits.

What You Will Do:


  • Engage with business partners to gather information, analyze requirements and deliver practical, efficient and cost-effective solutions that satisfy business needs.
  • Writes product specifications and design documentation for assigned system components.
  • Design, develop and/or review complex code to ensure solutions meet the requirements of functional and technical specifications. Solutions may include but are not limited to the development of various types of applications, web, mobile app, full stack or integrations hosted on premises data centers or in the cloud.
  • Develop and/or review project technical architecture design and development.
  • Lead engineering team and provide oversight for less experienced engineers.
  • Using error reports, establish priorities and assign out bugs to relevant team members for resolution.
  • Support development of version control principles (e.g. Git and working within an agile environment), CI/CD pipeline and various automations.

What Gets You The Job:


  • Bachelor's degree (ex: Computer Science or related discipline)
  • 5 - 8 years of relevant Salesforce experience or minimum 9-12 years of relevant combination of education and work experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead small to medium teams in delivering software solutions
  • Demonstrates strong software development capabilities coupled with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • In depth experience developing in Sales Cloud
  • Experience with Apex development including classes, controllers, triggers and trigger handler framework, batch Automation with process builders, flows and triggers
  • Experience with Salesforce Integrations (REST, SOAP, Change Data Capture, Platform Events), API, SOQL and SOSL
  • Experience with declarative customizations - flows, process builder, approval process, etc.
  • Experience with Lightning Aura Component or Lightning Web Components
  • Experience with Salesforce configurations (security and sharing settings, user management, reports, dashboards)
  • Experience with Salesforce Platform Events and Salesforce Unit Testing
  • Salesforce Developer certifications (preferred)
