This position is for an Industrial Mechanical Technician responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, predictive and preventative maintenance for all equipment, machinery, conveyors, and various style valves in a production environment safely and efficiently.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Perform all work orders as required.
  • Make sure all predictive and preventative maintenance activities are performed in a timely manner.
  • Able to work in a chemical manufacturing environment, including the ability to wear a respirator.
  • Participates in new installations and modifications to existing equipment.
  • Proficient at diagnosing and repairing problems with valves, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, and conveyor systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Rebuild and install industrial valves and other piping components.
  • Rebuild industrial rotating equipment including blowers, fans, centrifugal and positive displacement pumps.
  • Participate in design reviews, root-cause analyses, and the management of change (MOC) process.
  • Understand piping systems and their uses, including knowledge of and adherence to plant piping standards.
  • Operate boom lifts, scissor lifts and forklifts.
  • Prepare and review, maintenance standard operating procedures, work instructions, and schedules and perform predictive and preventative maintenance in a timely manner compliant with pre-defined schedules.
  • Serve as an "on-call" technician during off-hours, weekends and holidays as part of the call out rotation to perform limited troubleshooting and repair mechanical equipment.
  • Learn and follow plant procedures and safety regulations.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Requires a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent and three (3) to five (5) years related experience or equivalent combination of industrial maintenance experience and education.
  • Must be capable of productively, constructively and effectively interfacing with other departments/personnel for the purpose of developing and/or supplying information to ascertain and achieve processing requirements.
  • Understanding of Predictive and Preventive Maintenance programs.
  • Looking for good general mechanical aptitude and experience with: HVAC, IR-thermal, ultrasound, vibration, baker testing, valve rebuilds, PRV, fabrication, facilities maintenance, controls, air compressor/dryers, RO systems, steam/heat recovery, mobile equipment, UPS, lubrication, orbital welding, machining, pipe fitting, pump rebuilds, robotics, and pipe wall integrity.
  • Understanding and conformity to safety protocols such as: LOTO, Fall-Protection, Confined Space and other life critical safety protocols.
  • Ability to interpret schematics, PFDs, P/IDs, blueprints and manuals.

The base pay range for this position is $30/hr - $50/hr. All positions come with a bonus plan and company stock options. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, the applicant's qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the position is located.

Base Pay Range
$30 $50 USD
