The Work
Our Radar Systems Engineering team is seeking a candidate to support the integration, test, and verification of high performance Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar systems. The Radar Systems Engineer will:
Apply advanced technologies, scientific principles, theories and concepts to develop revolutionary system solutions.
Support integration and test, evaluate test results, investigate discrepancies, provide technical assessment of anomalies, and drive issues to resolution.
Conduct system verification and support certification activities.
Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to accomplish technical objectives
Represent the organization on contracts and interface with internal and external customers, program and senior leadership on technical matters as required.
Have strong analytical and communication skills and work well in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment.
Be comfortable working in hands-on laboratory or field environments.
Shift work may be required
This position involves the ability to travel
domestically and internationally as needed to
support site installs, checkout and integration
testing.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or equivalent degree combined with 8 years of related experience.
- Experience leading the integration and test of radar systems
- Radar system design/development experience, including signal processing, algorithms, software, data analysis or modeling & simulation
- Proficiency in MATLAB, C++ or Python
- Strong technical leadership skills with demonstrated ability to plan, track and execute engineering tasks to meet program objectives
- Flexibility to work non-standard work shifts and weekends if needed by the supported program
- U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Secret
level clearance

Desired skills

- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams to complete technical objectives on schedule and within budget.
- Strong communication skills
- Hands-on experience with RF systems or antenna testing including near-field and far-field
measurement techniques
- Experience in Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) and Anti-Aircraft Warfare (AAW) concepts and design implementation
- Demonstrated analytical, applied mathematics
and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment
