The ES Engineering Governance and Process Team seeks an Engineering Manager to lead Engineering Governance & Process efforts. As a lead on the team, you will report to the Director of ES Engineering Governance and Process and collaborate with a diverse engineering population, functional partners, and subject matter experts to ensure measurable adoption and implementation of engineering product development processes.

Roles and Responsibilities include:
Lead ES Engineering efforts to meet the appropriate application and implementation rigor of our product development process.
Lead Engineering's preparation and participation in internal and external audit activities including CMMI, AS9100D, internal and customer audits. This includes partnering with our Quality organization to plan and resource audits, and assess, review, and analyze audit findings.
Collaborate with the Business Area Engineering directorates and the Office of the VP of Engineering to ensure uniform assessment and reporting of the ES Engineering metrics. This includes collaborating with the ES Data Analytics group, Engineering Hang 10 and Data Analysis Solutions teams, and other functional organizations to create and support automated collection and reporting of the standard set of ES Engineering Metrics.
Coordinate and facilitate the quarterly Engineering functional Corrective Action Review Board (CARB) and support the generation of ES Engineering Quarterly Business Review (QBR) metrics reporting.
Oversee Life Cycle Management (LCM) Engineering Review processes including ensuring compliance to plc, Inc. and ES requirements through the development and maintenance of training material, performing results analysis, publishing bi-annual chairperson newsletters, collaborating with Program Excellence on process interpretation and dashboard development, and supporting LCMS.
Manage the Engineering Operational Assurance Statement due diligence process including developing and tracking PLEL questionnaires, reviewing business area leadership affirmations, drafting formal responses, and obtaining VP of Engineering approval.
Collaborate with the Sector/Business Area leadership to provide enabling capabilities, resources, and processes for process selection and tailoring on projects with engineering content.
Support the drive to One ES Engineering Process including simplification and streamlining command media to support efficient and effective program implementation. Apply process improvement and engineering methodologies and principles across the Organization to establish, deploy, and maintain processes that are in alignment with Enterprise-level processes and adopted standards.
Support the collaborative environment in ES Engineering; fully leverage best practices, people, and resources across BAE Systems. Connect with key personnel within ES and the larger BAE Systems, Inc., community to identify and leverage process and reporting practices.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science and 12 years of work experience
5+ years of leadership in internal product development process audits, certification and benchmarking events such as CMMI V2.0, AS9100D and ISO9001.
5+ years' experience in leading cross-functional initiatives/teams including root cause and corrective action.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Experience across the engineering lifecycle (i.e. requirements analysis, architecture design/development, integration, verification, sell-off, security accreditation, and maintenance)
Advanced technical degree or certification relevant to engineering, technical, or business focus
Experience supporting development of complex technical systems and the transition to manufacturing, engineering initiatives, and agile process application.
Knowledge of Aerospace Industry Standards and Certifications such as AS9145, AS9100D, CMMI V2.0. Preferred certifications: AS9100D Lead Auditor, CMMI v2.0 Associate Certification
Knowledge and experience in product realization process implementation and tailoring
Knowledge of ES Organizational Processes and Structures
Highly developed interpersonal skills with excellent written and oral presentation skills for interfacing and coordinating with company personnel, including our functional partners in the Quality, Project Management, Operations and Supply Chain organizations.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $140690 - $239140

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
