What You Will Do
Provide high level technical analysis and technical project leadership, identifying true business needs and assessing the available technologies to meet those needs; manage development projects of varying magnitude and ensure the analysis, testing and implementation are both timely and are satisfactory to management and users. Experience with mainframe Fidelity/Systematics architecture and systems. Display initiative and work effectively in a team environment. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Innovative problem-solving skills and analytical skills.Completes any other job related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization s Values.
What We Will Require
Bachelor's degree in MIS related field or equivalent experience. Minimum of seven (7) years programming experience. Minimum of three (3) years in project leadership role.
Ideal Candidate Will Have
Financial services industry experience Strong project organization, leadership, team building, and communications skills (written and verbal). Understanding of the financial services business and in-depth understanding of the capabilities and system structure of the systems available to support them. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of all Fidelity applications.
Additional Job Responsibilities
Analyze/identify specific business needs of the credit union, members, and/or users and determine available/feasible technologies to meet those needs. Research and determine the most effective technological solution or approach, ensuring available system features are well utilized and custom code is kept to a minimum. Manage, coordinate, and/or carry out development projects of various magnitudes. Depending on the scope of project, provide work direction to other MIS staff assigned to that project, including Programmer/Analysts and Business Analysts. Review Programmer/Analyst code for integrity and maintainability. Code, test, and install systems/changes as assigned. Provides technical support on a 24x7 basis for assigned applications in the event of critical, system-down situations.
