Job Description:


We are seeking a skilled Power Supply Test engineer to join our Product Design Validation & Testing (PDVT) team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of power electronics, including AC/DC and DC/DC conversion topologies, as well as hands-on experience with power analyzers and lab equipment. This role involves executing test plans, troubleshooting issues, and documenting results, contributing to the validation of power solutions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Power Electronics Knowledge: Utilize expertise in power conversion, including AC/DC and DC/DC topologies, and understanding of board-mount and front-end power systems.
  • Testing and Validation Execution: Design and execute test plans for validating power electronics components, detecting failures, and driving issues to resolution in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Equipment Proficiency: Operate and manage various power analyzers such as oscilloscopes, AC/DC power sources, function generators, and electronic loads to conduct thorough testing.
  • Failure Analysis and Troubleshooting: Perform detailed failure analysis and troubleshooting in a lab environment, applying hands-on skills for effective problem resolution.
  • Data Documentation and Reporting: Compile and document test results in clear, concise reports, capturing all necessary data for comprehensive analysis.
  • PCB and Soldering Skills: Execute component-level soldering on PCBs and maintain technical proficiency in lab equipment and assembly techniques.
  • Adaptability in Fast-Paced Environments: Manage multiple tasks efficiently, adjusting to changing priorities and tight deadlines.
