Your role and responsibilities
As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.\n\nThe work model for the role is: onsite\n\nThis role is contributing to the Motion Business.\n\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\n \tSupport development of custom motor product 10-2000 HP for multiple manufacturing locations. \n \tWork closely with senior development engineers to model electric motor designs.\n \tSupport product development testing. \n \tWork in the motor test lab with test technicians. \n \tCo-op engineer is expected to complete 3 semesters with ABB at the CUICAR location.\n

Qualifications for the role
- \tCurrently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in electrical engineering in the United States.
- \tIntern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
- \tMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
- \tUtilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions
- \tEffectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- \tDemonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality
- \tCollaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.
