ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Senior Cybersecurity Insider Risk Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization from internal threats and mitigating risks associated with insider activities. You will leverage your extensive experience in cybersecurity to identify, assess, and respond to potential insider threats, ensuring the security and integrity of our systems, data, and operations.

You will leverage your extensive experience in cybersecurity to identify, assess, and respond to potential insider threats, ensuring the security and integrity of our systems, data, and operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Insider Threat Detection and Analysis:
- Identify and analyze potential insider threats through monitoring, investigation, and threat intelligence.
- Utilize advanced techniques and tools to detect suspicious behavior and anomalies.
Incident Response:
- Act as a responder for insider threat incidents.
- Coordinate with other cybersecurity and IT teams to contain, investigate, and remediate insider-related incidents.
Policy and Procedures:
- Contribute to the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures.
- Ensure policies incorporate best practices for mitigating insider risks.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Write clear and concise analytical and intelligence reports.
- Present findings to a range of business stakeholders.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with various departments, including HR, legal, and IT, to address insider threat concerns.
- Engage with external partners and stakeholders as necessary.
Training and Awareness:
- Assist in providing organizational security awareness training to relevant audiences.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and threat landscapes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Master's degree or advanced certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on insider threat management, risk assessment, and incident response.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in cybersecurity tools and platforms (e.g., SIEM, DLP, behavioral analytics).
- Strong understanding of network security, data protection, and threat intelligence.
Analytical Skills:
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
Good to have:
- Certifications: Additional certifications related to insider threat and risk management (e.g., CISA, CRISC) are advantageous.
- Industry Experience: Experience in sectors with high regulatory requirements (e.g., finance, healthcare) is a plus.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).
