Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, protocols, and procedures for hardware and software components of BMH products, including DXA systems.
- Perform verification and validation (V&V) testing to ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, IEC 60601, ISO 13485).
- Identify, document, and troubleshoot defects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
- Design and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve testing efficiency.
- Conduct risk assessments and contribute to risk management activities.
- Analyze test data, prepare detailed reports, and present findings to stakeholders.
- Support integration testing of hardware, firmware, and software in a simulated clinical environment.
- Stay updated on industry standards, regulatory changes, and emerging testing methodologies.
- Collaborate with R&D, quality assurance, and regulatory teams to support product development and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in testing medical devices, preferably imaging or diagnostic systems.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (FDA, CE, ISO 13485, IEC 60601).
- Experience with software and hardware testing methodologies (e.g., black-box, white-box, integration testing).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and cross-team collaboration.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment with strict deadlines.
- Preferred: Knowledge of bone densitometry, DXA systems, or metabolic health diagnostics.
