POSITION SUMMARY

The Product Owner, Ecommerce & Direct Customer Products is a key member of the Azamara ecommerce team. This full-time position is primarily responsible for supporting the growth of B2C online booking revenue through optimization of the guest journey and development of engaging functional experiences that increase conversion of cruise and ancillary revenue products. This role also includes daily operational responsibilities for ecommerce and other guest-facing technology products.
This role sits within the IT Organization and requires a comprehensive understanding of direct-to-consumer eCommerce websites, and the systems and processes used to support an optimal end-to-end customer journey. The successful candidate is an entrepreneur who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for creating user experiences that delight consumers and drive purchases.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
  • Support daily operations for Azamara s direct-to-consumer ecommerce website
  • Evaluate opportunities to optimize the guest journey throughout the booking funnel, leveraging data, A/B testing, user research, and user feedback (guest, travel partners, and business stakeholders)
  • Partners with stakeholders and customers across the organization to inform the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization.
  • Translates product roadmap into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria
  • Prioritize and maintain the product backlog
  • Leverage ecommerce best practices related to UX/UI, information architecture, responsive web design, SEO, and accessibility, ensuring an optimal web journey for all global users
  • Participate in scrum ceremonies such as stand-up, sprint planning, and backlog refinement
  • Support product deployment launches, including new ships, new sailings, and other product releases
  • Support creation and maintenance of website content via the content management system
  • Support creation and maintenance of content required for selling cruises, pre/post packages, shorex & add-ons in reservations platform CMS
  • Participate in special project initiatives as defined by Senior Management
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
  • Bachelor s degree in business, Communications, Marketing, or other related field required OR 3 years additional relevant work experience (5 years total).
  • 3+ years relevant experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst on consumer-facing ecommerce websites.
  • 2+ years relevant experience in the cruise industry
  • Experience with eCommerce analytics applications (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, A/B Testing platforms)
  • Knowledge of digital best practices (UX/UI best practices, information architecture, responsive web design, and accessibility)
  • Experience working in a technical environment. Should understand technical processes and vocabulary related to web development
  • Superior organizational skills and experience handling multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 tools and resources
