Job Details

The Position

Pay rate=$36/hour (depends on experience)

Contract duration=6 months (possible extensions up to 36 months)

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm or 7:30am to 3:30pm

On-site position only

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain maintenance specific master data to best serve the facilities/utilities and manufacturing operations.
  • Implement master data changes in accordance with change control processes.
  • Maintain good working knowledge of MRO material master data and procurement procedures
  • Perform SAP Production master data (i.e. BoM's) creation and maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate creation and revision of MRO Item Specifications
  • Perform Item number creation and SAP Material master creation and maintenance activities.
  • Perform SAP Quality master data creation and maintenance activities.
  • Troubleshoot master data issues when necessary.
  • Coordinate SAP master data activities with other departments (i.e., Operations Planning, Operations New Product Logistics, Engineering Support, Purchasing, Quality Operations, and Quality Management).
  • Document master data activities accurately and appropriately, and according to established formats. Write and/or revise department documents in compliance with business change control processes.
  • Maintain the CMMS and the CCMS data integrity and perform data corrections and updates when required.
  • Collect, verify and input technical data from maintenance personnel, equipment manufacturers, equipment users, contractors, and engineering personnel into CMMS and CCMS.
  • Maintain open communication with management, co-workers, customers and counterpart staff across the Roche network.
  • Maintain master data under strict accordance with Quality Assurance guidance documents and applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) pertinent to the role
  • Customer Support: Provide Facilities Engineering with excellent customer service and technical expertise to ensure safe, cGMP compliant execution of maintenance and facilities support


Education and Experience:
  • B.S or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, Chemical, Biochemical, or related

discipline preferred or equivalent experience of 4 years using SAP
  • Self-motivated team player with the ability to work, prioritize, and deliver results with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated success operating in teams (especially cross-functional teams)
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, computer, and analytical skills.
  • Qualified candidates need to legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
  • 0-2 years' experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry is a plus
