Job Details

We are seeking a PEGA Production Support Engineer to join our team, providing critical support for PEGA applications in a healthcare industry environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in PEGA versions 7 through 8.x, cloud-based PEGA solutions, and production support tools. This role requires strong analytical skills for log analysis, monitoring, and troubleshooting, as well as experience working with cloud platforms and infrastructure monitoring tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide production support for PEGA applications, ensuring system stability, issue resolution, and performance optimization.
  • Utilize PEGA Cloud, AES, and PDC for proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Perform log analysis and root cause investigation using PEGA logs, Instana, Grafana, and DB Visualizer.
  • Work with UNIX/Linux environments for server management, scripting, and troubleshooting.
  • Execute SQL queries for database analysis and performance tuning.
  • Manage and support application servers, including WAS (WebSphere Application Server) and JBOSS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and enhance system performance.
  • Document production incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions for continuous improvement.

Required Skills:

  • PEGA versions 7 8.x with production support experience.
  • Experience with PEGA Cloud, AES, and PDC.
  • Strong log analytical skills for troubleshooting and system monitoring.
  • Proficiency in UNIX/Linux environments for system administration.
  • SQL and database management using DB Visualizer.
  • Experience with Instana, Grafana, WAS, and JBOSS for monitoring and troubleshooting.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Additional expertise in cloud-based PEGA deployments and system automation.
  • Experience working in healthcare industry environments.
