AI Application Engineer

We're seeking an experienced AI Application Engineer to lead the development and implementation of AI-powered solutions that address complex business opportunities. This role focuses on building production-ready applications that leverage AI capabilities while ensuring scalability, security, and ethical considerations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AI/ML technologies.

Core Responsibilities

• Drive strategic AI adoption through ROI-focused implementation and scaling support


• Design and implement AI-powered applications with measurable business value and clear ROI metrics


• Develop and optimize RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) systems for proprietary data integration


• Architect multi-agent AI systems and orchestrate their deployment


• Design and implement custom AI solutions across various business functions (Sales, Operations, Finance)


• Lead technical implementation of GenAI integration with enterprise systems


• Develop modular, scalable AI applications that can be productized


• Lead technical decisions around AI integration patterns and best practices


• Mentor team members on AI application development and deployment


• Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to define AI feature requirements


• Ensure responsible AI practices including bias detection, monitoring, and ethical considerations

Required Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related technical field, or equivalent experience


• 2+ years of professional experience with programming languages such as Python


• Strong expertise in enterprise AI technologies:

• Demonstrated experience with business value assessment and ROI measurement


• Demonstrated experience with Azure OpenAI services

  • Backend: Node.js/Python, RESTful APIs, GraphQL
  
  
  
  


• Experience with AI platforms and models:
  
  
  
  • Large Language Models (OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, etc.)
  
  
  • Cloud AI services (AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, Vertex AI)

• Proven track record of deploying AI applications to production

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI development frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex)


• Familiarity with vector databases and semantic search


• Understanding of MLOps practices

Additional Details
The base salary range for this position is $90K - $140K annually, depending on experience.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
