Job Title: Full Stack Engineer HYBRID ROLE (2 weeks a month onsite)
Location: Durham, NC
Duration: Long term

Job Description
Profile: This is a 60% front end, 40% backend skillset.
Front end: Javascript | Typescript - Vue framework - view is needed for the role
Backend: Java Spring Boot Microservices and API | GraphQL is a nice to have

Not DB heavy to my understanding

Cloud: AWS
Infra and testing: HM will be looking for those with strong understanding of their DevOps continuum (focus on Jenkins - and the ability to modify / interface with automation pipelines). Holistic SDLC is needed so Unit testing at minimum - integration testing would be a nice to have.

HM usually conducts 2 rounds - one 30 minutes with himself and another 45 minute / 1 hour tech panel. If a 3rd is scheduled it is more so a meet and greet with Squad Lead.

As a full stack engineer with the Branch Digital Experience (BDX) team, you will be part of a diverse and collaborative team, laser-focused on delivering outstanding solutions. You will work across a wide range of technologies, bringing deep technical experience across Vue, NodeJS, micro-services, and AWS cloud.

The Value You Deliver
As a Full-Stack Engineer in BDX, responsibilities include:
Working as part of an agile SCRUM team
Developing, maintaining, and testing solutions across the Vue-Node-Java API-AWS tech stack
Crafting and implementing solutions that align with the wider Fidelity technology strategy
Documenting & sharing technical solutions and diagrams
Driving technical hygiene and adoption of engineering leading practices and Fidelity standards
Collaborating and communicating with other specialists and those with vested interest across BDX and the wider company
Performing code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing
Identifying and resolving issues within the production and non-production environments

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Engineering
Strong problem-solving skills within sophisticated, distributed deployments
5+ years of hands-on development experience with Vue, NodeJS, and Java microservices
Good understanding of cloud-computing and software development on AWS
Practical experience with containerization and Kubernetes
Experience with common CI/CD tools and pipelines (Jenkins, Artifactory, uDeploy, etc)
Hands-on experience with logging and observability tools Splunk and Datadog
Strong communication with technical and non-technical teammates
A positive demeanor and strong work-ethic
