Title: Cloud Engineer (Storage/Compute)

Duration/Type of Job: 6 Months
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, automating, and certifying Google Cloud Platform compute and storage capabilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our cloud infrastructure meets the highest standards of performance, security, and reliability.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of software development/automation experience in the Cloud Platform engineering domain.
- Hands-on experience with cloud provider platforms, with a preference for Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong software development background with expertise in cloud service automation using Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, Java with Spring Boot, Spring Reactive, and Linux.
- Experience certifying cloud services in a financial services environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of common standards and practices involving CI/CD, IAM, and Security.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management.
