Role: .NET Core Full Stack Developer

Location: Brooklyn, NY - Locals to NY Preferred

Duration: 24+ Months

Application Developer

  1. Proficiency in Angular: A deep understanding of Angular (13 & above) framework concepts such as components, services, modules, directives, templates, data binding, dependency injection, routing, and forms is essential.
  2. HTML/CSS/JavaScript: Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, bootstrap and JavaScript.
  3. TypeScript:
  4. Responsive Design: Experience in creating responsive web applications that work seamlessly across various devices and screen sizes.
  5. RESTful APIs: Understanding of RESTful API principles and experience in consuming APIs to fetch and manipulate data within Angular applications as well as experience in building and consuming APIs using Core, including designing API endpoints, handling requests and responses, authentication, authorization, and serialization/deserialization of data.
  6. Version Control/Git: Proficiency in version control systems like Git for code collaboration, branching, merging, and managing code repositories.
  7. Testing: Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jasmine and Karma for writing unit tests and end-to-end tests for Angular applications. Experience with tools like Protractor for end-to-end testing is a plus.
  8. Package Management and Build Tools: Familiarity with package managers like npm, as well as build tools like Webpack or Angular CLI for project scaffolding, dependency management, and bundling.
  9. Proficiency in .NET Core: Thorough understanding of .NET Core framework, including its architecture, features, and capabilities for building scalable and high-performance applications.
  10. C# Programming Language: Strong knowledge and proficiency in C#, including object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts, asynchronous programming, LINQ, and other advanced language features.
  11. ASP.NET Core: Experience in developing web applications using ASP.NET Core and APIs.
  12. Entity Framework Core (EF Core): Experience with EF Core for database access and management, including data modeling, CRUD operations, migrations, and working with relational databases MS SQL Server.
  13. Relational Databases: Familiarity with Relational databases like SQL Server and strong SQL skills.
  14. Dependency Injection: Thorough understanding of SOLID principles and dependency injection (DI) and inversion of control (IoC) principles in .NET Core for managing object dependencies and improving code maintainability, testability, and scalability.
  15. Unit Testing: Proficiency in writing unit tests using testing frameworks like NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest for ensuring code quality, reliability, and maintainability through automated testing.
  16. Security Best Practices: Understanding of common security vulnerabilities and best practices for securing .NET Core applications, including authentication (e.g., JWT, OAuth), authorization, data validation, input sanitization, and protection against common attacks (e.g., XSS, CSRF, SQL injection).
  17. Performance Optimization: Ability to optimize the performance of .NET Core applications by implementing caching mechanisms, optimizing database queries, improving code efficiency, and leveraging asynchronous programming techniques.
  18. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab Actions for automating build, test, and deployment processes to achieve faster and more reliable software delivery.
  19. Troubleshooting and Debugging: Proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging .NET Core applications using debugging tools, logging frameworks , and performance monitoring tools to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  20. Workflow Engine: Experience with no code low code workflow tools like Decisions is a plus.
