Description du poste :

Sous la supervision du Directeur R&D, le dveloppeur est responsable de crer et maintenir les librairies ncessaires notre pipeline et nos outils.

Le poste requiert de solides comptences en dveloppement de pipeline avec une capacit laborer du code efficace, robuste, facile maintenir et facile pour les utilisateurs.

Responsabilits :

  • Dvelopper, crer et soutenir de nouveaux flux de travail ainsi que ceux dj existants.
  • Optimiser, entretenir et moderniser le pipeline du studio en dveloppant et en maintenant un code efficace.
  • Coder, dployer, tester, maintenir et documenter les API et l infrastructure.
  • Aider dpanner, analyser et rparer les problmatiques des outils de pipeline / front-end existants.
  • Modifier et prolonger l existence des outils de pipeline afin qu ils prennent en charge les nouveaux flux de travail, conception de nouveaux systmes ou optimisation des fonctionnalits existantes.
  • Maintenir une bonne entente et une bonne dynamique d quipe.

Comptences exiges :

  • 3+ ans d'exprience souhaite.
  • De solides comptences en programmation Python sont requises.
  • Familier avec les diffrents DCC/logiciels utiliss dans l industrie (Maya, Nuke, etc).
  • Connaissance de Qt/PySide est un plus.
  • Une connaissance des tests logiciels (par exemple: tests unitaires, tests d'intgration, etc.) est un plus.
  • Excellentes comptences en matire de dpannage et de dbogage.
  • Capacit avre travailler de faon autonome et en quipe.
  • Proactif, trs motiv et dsireux de travailler avec les dernires technologies.
  • Bonne connaissance pratique de Linux, de prfrence.
  • Connaissance d'Autodesk ShotGrid et exprience en programmation est un plus.
  • L'orientation professionnelle vers l'industrie des effets visuels est un plus.
  • Capacit et intrt acqurir de nouvelles comptences de manire autonome hautement souhaits.
  • Connaissance du langage de programmation C++ est un plus.

Job description :

Under the supervision of the Head of R&D, the Developer is responsible for creating and maintaining the necessary libraries for our pipeline and tools.

This position requires strong knowledge in pipeline development with the ability to elaborate an efficient, solid, user-friendly and easy-to-maintain code base.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop, create and support new and existing pipeline initiatives and workflows.
  • Optimize, keep relevant and modernize the studio's pipeline by writing and maintaining efficient code.
  • Code, deploy, test, maintain and document new and existing APIs and frameworks.
  • Help troubleshoot, analyze and repair issues in current pipeline/front-end tools.
  • Modify and extend existing pipeline tools to accommodate new workflows, take better advantage of new systems or optimize existing functionality.

Qualifications :

  • 3+ years experience.
  • Strong Python programming skills are required.
  • Familiar with the different DDC/software used in the industry (ex. Maya, Nuke, etc.)
  • Qt/PySide knowledge is a plus.
  • Familiarity with software testing (e.g. unit testing, integration testing, etc) is a plus.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Proactive, highly motivated and eager to work with the latest technologies.
  • Strong working knowledge of Linux is preferred.
  • Autodesk ShotGrid knowledge and programming experience is a plus.
  • Career focus for the visual effects industry is a must.
  • Ability and interest in learning new skills autonomously are highly desired.
  • Knowledge of the C++ programming language is a plus.
