Functional Plant Maintenance Storeroom Consultant (16897)

Baer is looking for Functional Plant Maintenance Storeroom Consultant for a 6+ month remote project
Title: Functional Plant Maintenance Storeroom Consultant
Location: Remote with 75% travel to various plant sites
Duration: 6 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C
Description:

• Maintain accurate records of all parts, tools, and supplies in the storeroom
• Monitor stock levels and initiate reorders to prevent shortages
• Perform regular inventory audits and address any discrepancies
• Ensure all stored items meet safety and compliance standards
• Update logs and track usage through electronic or manual systems
• Work closely with maintenance staff to ensure timely support and part availability
• Act as a liaison between the storeroom, maintenance team, and facility operations
• Mentor and train team members on storeroom best practices and procedures
• Proactively identify and solve issues to keep maintenance workflows efficient
• Continuously improve storeroom processes and inventory control methods

Requirements:

• Functional experience in a manufacturing plant or industrial facility
• Strong understanding of maintenance and facility operations
• Hands-on experience with inventory systems (manual and/or electronic)
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Self-starter with a problem-solving mindset
• Experience mentoring and training team members
• Familiarity with safety and compliance standards in industrial settings
