DUTIES:

• Execute streaming best practices and proper stream architecture on AWS so that real time data can be ingested to the Enterprise Data Lake.
• Design, develop and maintain real-time processing data applications on AWS and build services including S3 and Athena.
• Build data repositories in Snowflake for business consumption.
• Design, develop and maintain data extracts on the cloud and build sharing capabilities using S3, AWS FTP and replication data tables in Snowflake.
• Develop tooling to monitor core infrastructure health and perform system upgrades.
• Implement CI/CD and logging.
• Analyze various healthcare subject areas including medical claims, authorization, pharmacy, lab and build complex data extract for external entities.
• Implement automation and self-service tools to streamline interaction with shared service infrastructure.
• Provide the Health Plan Systems with a platform for real-time stream processing by performing application and production support to help ensure the availability of streaming services and the continuous flow of data.
• Position reports to Centene headquarters at 7700 Forsyth Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63105 and various unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. Telecommuting permitted 100% of the time.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related, or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position, and 5 years of relevant work experience.
• ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related, or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position, and 3 years of relevant work experience.
• In addition, experience with the following skills is required: (1) ETL and using SQL Server Integration Services; (2) Databases using SQL Server, Oracle, and Teradata; (3) Data Security, understanding of data security Principles and best Practices including encryption and compliance with regulations including HIPPA; (4) AWS (Amazon Web Services): including Amazon Redshift, S3, and EC2; and experience deploying and managing data pipelines on AWS using services with AWS Glue; (5) Data integration from various sources including structured and unstructured data using ETL tools and techniques; and (6) Healthcare data Systems including Electronic Health Records and Health Information Exchanges.

JOB SITE: 7700 Forsyth Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63105

WORK HOURS: Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week [8:00 am to 5:00 pm]

PAY RANGE: $139,942.00 to $186,800.00 per year
