National Lighting Account Sales Representative - Remote Opportunity

Job Summary:
As a National Sales Manager, you will oversee the cultivation and growth of our sales network across the United States, driving growth and expanding our market presence nationally. Your role will involve strategic planning, direct sales management, and building strong relationships with a broad spectrum of clients including local and national electrical distributors, lighting agents, architects, engineers, lighting designers, and both electrical and general contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop Strategic Sales Plans:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve national sales budgets.
- Establish a network of Lighting Agents and Electrical Distributors through existing relationships, warm leads, and cold calling.
- Identify and target potential market segments to introduce and sell B&H Lighting products and services.
- Conduct market analysis to understand industry trends and competitive landscape, adjusting sales strategies accordingly.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with both new and existing clients across various sectors including electrical distributors, lighting agents, architecture, engineering, and lighting design.
- Serve as a key contact for major national accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Sales Operations and Performance:
- Manage national sales operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Utilize CRM systems to track sales leads, customer interactions, and progress towards goals.
- Report regularly on sales results, market conditions, and the effectiveness of sales strategies.
Travel for Business Development:
- Travel across the United States to review projects, present the company and products, and attend events and trade shows.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in a senior sales role, ideally within the lighting or related industries.
- Strong understanding of the sales process and dynamics, and superb leadership skills.
- Extensive experience working with electrical distributors, lighting agents, architects, engineers, lighting designers, and general contractors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel across the United States.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
