Job Summary:

We are looking for a high-performing and motivated Business Development Manager / Account Executive to drive revenue growth by selling our IT services and solutions to mid-size and enterprise clients. This dual-role involves both hunting (new business acquisition) and farming (account management), with a focus on building long-term, value-based relationships.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the IT services industry, including custom software development, cloud solutions, digital transformation, and managed services.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Identify and target new business opportunities through cold outreach, inbound leads, partnerships, events, and referrals.
  • Understand client business needs and position suitable IT services to address their challenges.
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, solution mapping, proposal development, negotiation, and closure.
  • Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, marketing, and delivery teams to create winning proposals.

Account Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term retention.
  • Grow accounts by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure smooth delivery and client communication.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and performance check-ins with clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Experience in IT services sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Strong understanding of services like custom software development, cloud (AWS, Azure), DevOps, enterprise solutions, etc.
  • Experience managing the complete sales lifecycle and developing enterprise-grade proposals.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho CRM.
  • Ability to manage multiple deals/accounts in parallel and work with remote teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with offshore or hybrid delivery models.
  • Familiarity with industry domains like Fintech, Healthcare, E-commerce, Logistics, or Manufacturing.
  • Understanding of RFP/RFI processes.
