We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Modeler with a strong background in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to join our team in Dallas, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing data models that power innovative AI/ML applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Modeling & Architecture: Design and develop complex data models, data pipelines, and database architectures for large-scale AI/ML systems.
- AI/ML Integration: Work closely with data scientists and machine learning engineers to integrate AI/ML algorithms into data models, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Data Governance & Quality: Ensure data integrity, quality, and governance standards are met in all data modeling processes.
- Collaboration & Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, providing guidance on best practices for data modeling, AI/ML techniques, and data architecture strategies.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze and fine-tune data models for performance optimization, ensuring efficient data flow and resource utilization.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data models that align with business goals.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in data modeling, database design, and architecture, with a strong focus on AI/ML projects.
- Technical Skills: Advanced expertise in SQL, data modeling tools (e.g., Erwin, Power Designer, or similar), and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, etc.).
- AI/ML Expertise: Hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms, data pre-processing, feature engineering, and model evaluation. Proficient in Python, R, or similar programming languages used in AI/ML projects.
- Cloud Technologies: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and familiarity with cloud-native data services (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Data Warehousing: Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience with ETL processes, data lakes, and data pipelines.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to mentor junior team members and engage with non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a hybrid work environment and the ability to manage teams remotely.
- Knowledge of industry-specific AI/ML applications and business models (e.g., finance, healthcare, or retail).
- Certifications in relevant AI/ML or data modeling tools.
