REMOTE TYPE: Office Worker
JOB LOCATION: 211 S Akard St. Dallas, TX 75202
DUTIES: Manage and lead the software product development life cycle from inception to production launch and provide post-production support. Design, code, test, debug and document new and existing components to ensure that software meets business, quality and operational needs. Align development teams to a shared technical direction and partners with teams to elaborate the solutions and their interfaces. Work with portfolio stakeholders, and solution and enterprise architects to develop, analyze, split, and realize the implementation of enablers. Build high quality code following unit testing and test-driven development. Establish critical NFRs at the solution level, and participate in the definition of others. Drive and participate in code and document reviews, and mentor teams on best practices. Collaborate with peer organizations utilizing DevOps methodology, support organizations with technical issues, and provide guidance. Interpret and translate business needs to technical requirements and accurate estimates. Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies and processes to ensure the highest quality and performance is achieved. Work with team to troubleshoot code level problems quickly and efficiently. Apply deep technical expertise to resolve challenging programming and design problems. Contribute to design and architecture to enable secure, scalable and maintainable software. Contribute to technical roadmap and technical debt elimination, balancing time, resource, and quality constraints to achieve business and strategic goals and requirements. Develop microservices using Java Spring Boot. Utilize Object-oriented programming concepts. Develop-event driven applications: Azure Event Hubs. Use Azure Cosmos DB. Troubleshoot and monitor software issues at various levels through Azure Kudu and Azure App Insights. Design, code, test, debug, and document new and existing components to ensure that software meets business, quality, and operational needs. Design modular and scalable web components. Build Java-based, high-volume, and high -transaction e-commerce applications, and create web applications using Java and Spring.
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Engineering or Computer Science and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience in a related occupation developing Microservices using Java Spring Boot; utilizing Object-oriented programming concepts; developing event-driven applications: Azure Event Hubs; using Azure Cosmos DB; troubleshooting and monitoring software issues at various levels through Azure Kudu and Azure App Insights; designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting new and existing components to ensure that software meets business, quality, and operational needs; designing modular and scalable web components; and building Javabased, high-volume, and high-transaction e-commerce applications, and creating web applications using Java and Spring.
