As a Lead Product Development Engineer, you will be part of the Product Development team. What's the Job?
- Lead and contribute to design and development activities within project teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and drafters, providing technical guidance, training, and career development opportunities.
- Stay ahead of industry trends by researching emerging technologies, materials, and best practices from sources including technical literature, suppliers, and patents.
- Creation of 2D and 3D engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring design accuracy and manufacturability.
- Must be onsite in Medford, WI
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience with drafting, design principles, and product development.
- Proven leadership skills, including the ability to lead teams, mentor junior engineers, and drive project success.
- Experience with product commercialization processes.
- Building materials industry experience
