Our client, a materials building manufacturer is seeking a Lead Product Development Engineer to join their team. As a Lead Product Development Engineer, you will be part of the Product Development team. This is a unique opportunity to not only develop innovative products but also lead teams, mentor junior engineers, and drive project success.

Job Title: Lead Product Development Engineer

Location: Medford, WI 54451

Pay Range: $100k-$130K/year

What's the Job?
  • Lead and contribute to design and development activities within project teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers and drafters, providing technical guidance, training, and career development opportunities.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends by researching emerging technologies, materials, and best practices from sources including technical literature, suppliers, and patents.
  • Creation of 2D and 3D engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring design accuracy and manufacturability.
  • Must be onsite in Medford, WI


What's Needed?
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience with drafting, design principles, and product development.
  • Proven leadership skills, including the ability to lead teams, mentor junior engineers, and drive project success.
  • Experience with product commercialization processes.
  • Building materials industry experience
