Looking for AWS Data Engineer for a client based in Des Moines, IA.

This will be a Hybrid opportunity - 3 days onsite.

We are looking for someone based in IOWA or neighboring states.

They would be working closely with our team to help develop solutions to be implemented in our D&A space. The work involved will be taking source data, doing the necessary ETL (extract, transform, load) to help build curated data products for our analysts to use in their insights. There will be both independent as well as pairing opportunities based on feature size and existing skillsets. Often times we are also consulting with our analysts and data scientists as they also explore AWS services. They will do most work in python, AWS and Snowflake.

We re working in an AWS environment. Looking for someone with data integration background, if possible, Cloud experience (AWS preferred), strong SQL; ideally versed in Athena/Glue/Python in the transformation space. Our scripting language of choice is python, strong python is needed, and we will have a coding exercise as part of our interview process. Snowflake experience is a strong bonus and differentiator for evaluating talent best fit for us. 1. If a candidate does not have all the technologies listed, would there be technologies you would consider similar and/or transferable for this position? Google Cloud Platform or Azure Cloud would be similar for cloud development, but honestly without AWS experience it is unlikely they'd be the best fit for us
